about

Nanatsu no ko is a old Japanese childrens's song.

The premise of the song is about the Japanese crow. There are many crows in Japan. In the evening time, when the sky is becoming orange, crows start to cry. When children hear crows crying outside at a park, they think "It's time to go home.'

I arranged this song in a Cuban salsa style, which is the music i experienced when I visited to Cuba. When wrote this song, i envisioned a Japanese crow flying on the mountain side of Cuba.

lyrics

Mother crow, why do you cry?
Because high on the mountain
i have cute babies
You should go to see the nest on the mountain
You will see round-eyed, cute children
